Bango goes live for off the shelf mobile content

Bango’s new Bango 2Go service is presented as “a simple, cost effective way for brands and content providers to launch a presence on the mobile web” that “takes the guesswork out of participating in what industry analysts call the next internet ‘gold rush’”.

“Brands recognize the power and reach of the mobile web but have had trouble navigating the complex landscape of the mobile world,” said Ray Anderson (Right), CEO of Bango. “With Bango 2Go brands are up-and-running in just one step.”

The service includes mobile website building, hosting, traffic generation, monitoring and a global payment service; it costs £2,997 to set up, with a monthly fee from £839. Bango handles the hosting and the payment processing. Traffic is generated through deals with mobile search providers including Google and Yahoo! plus a range of operator search solutions; website activity is monitored with Bango’s Vision tracking technology (“makes it simple to identify visitors, understand their browsing habits and personalise their mobile web experience”).
