Do criminals text differently?

Psychologists at the University of Leicester are running experiments to see how well an individual can be identified by their texting style. The starting point was a 2002 trial where it was proved that the murderer and not the victim had sent crucial messages from the latters phone. The current six-month study will assess similarities and differences in texting style, between texts sent by individuals within and between networks of people who frequently text one another.
