Griffiths to Microsoft

Hugh Griffiths has joined Microsoft’s Online Services Group (OSG) as Director of Mobile. The move is a significant announcement for Microsoft as it continues to invest in its mobile strategy in the UK.



Griffiths joins from O2, where latterly he had been working on a project basis after a successful stint there as Head of Data Products and Content. At O2 was also responsible for the company’s business data products.

“These are exciting times in the industry,” said Griffiths, “and I am delighted to be leading the next stage of development in Microsoft’s mobile strategy. It is the company’s aim to provide consumers with personal, relevant digital services to enhance their lifestyle and we believe mobile to be integral to this.”
