Nokia 5300:

due Q4 2006
Nokia seems to have gone overboard in playing catch-up on sliders just now. The 5300, and a similar-looking but notably cut-down version called the 5200, are sliders that get the XpressMusic label and some clever dedicated multimedia keys.
The spec is ok without being too thrilling – 1.3mp camera with 8x digital zoom, QVGA 240×320 pixel display, microSD memory card slot, and stereo FM radio (but you don’t get any extra memory in the box, and there’s only 5MB in the phone). Incidentally, other 5000 series phones have been presented as sporty devices, but these two don’t seem to have had the school-of-hard-knocks treatment.
