US-based Flash studio Smashing Ideas has acquired a controlling interest in BlueskyNorth, a UK producer of Flash Lite based mobile content. They will work together on Flash-based content and will jointly develop a content site for Europe. BlueskyNorth has been developing games and applications for the Flash Lite platform since 2004, and was one of the inaugural members of Macromedia’s Flash Lite Developers Program.
