4D Data Centres Listed in the Smarta 100/O2 Index of Best British Small Businesses

MSPs
Smarta.com and O2 proudly announce that 4D Data Centres is one of the winners of the 2012 Smarta 100, together with O2, the ultimate index of the UK’s 100 most dynamic and innovative small businesses. 4D is thus shortlisted for Business of the Year – to be decided by a live public vote.

The award organisers said: “We are not just looking for those who bring in the most cash, but the businesses that have the most original ideas and make a true difference. We want to find the beacons of enterprising Britain, the small firms that thrive despite the gloomy economy, be it a brilliant social enterprise, an inspiring young tech start-up or a small manufacturer.”

Commenting on its inclusion in the Smarta 100, 4D Data Centres’ managing director Jack Bedell-Pearce said: “It’s great to be recognised for our achievement as a British IT business that’s growing fast and investing in cutting-edge green initiatives. The result is very much down to the hard work of the team in our data centres in Surrey, London and Kent; this award is for them.”

He adds, “If we go on to win Business of the Year, this will really help to give us a leg up in what is a highly competitive market place. Colocation and connectivity services are fast becoming a utility for modern businesses. We’re keen to tell more companies that 4D offers a greener, more cost-effective alternative.”
