4G 'Pop up' from Nimans

Nimans is urging resellers to get connected with a new way to access 4G services – that puts superfast services into the hands of anyone with a Wi-Fi enabled device - in a growing number of cities around the country.

Pop Up Office is a portable Wi-Fi hotspot device which allows mobile devices - handsets, tablets and laptops - to connect to O2’s 4G network. It’s small and light and has a screen which shows battery level, signal and data usage.

“We’ve had some great feedback on the launch of 4G and the momentum continues with the connectivity of more new cities,” said Mark Curtis-Wood, Head of Networks at Nimans, who offer a range of wholesale mobile tariffs from O2.

“With 8 out of the initial 13 cities now online, we are being asked how we can support resellers to maximise future opportunities. One great way is to explore Pop Up Office, a new solution that provides access to 4G services on the move with 5Gb data for just £20.83 RRP. The hotspot provides a data only connection to 4G via a specific tariff for up to 10 devices using Wi-Fi. Customers can have either 3Gb or 5Gb allowance per month.”

Temporary offices and new sites without fixed network infrastructure and people working where Wi-Fi may be limited or intermittent, would benefit from the device – along with remote and home workers and people staying in hotels. Anyone even with a non 4G device can take advantage, says Mark.

“4G is about to take off as more cities get connected,” Mark declared. “I urge you to get ready and start making your preparations now to exploit the opportunities ahead. One of the ways you can do this is by working with our Business Development team, to put together a targeted marketing campaign based around customers in the connected cities.

“The arrival of 4G is a ‘game changer’ that will revolutionise how customers communicate and access information on the go – allowing them to ‘take their office’ with them anywhere. Future generations will view 4G as a watershed moment. Are you fully prepared?”
