8x8 Accepted onto G-Cloud 8

Cloud
8x8 has announced that it has been accepted on the Crown Commercial Services’ G-Cloud 8 framework. G-Cloud is a UK Government initiative to encourage the adoption of cloud services across the whole of the public sector.

8x8’s hosted unified communications and contact centre solutions allow public sector organisations to quickly, easily and safely migrate their telephony systems to the cloud. Cloud-based solutions deliver greater functionality than traditional legacy PBX and give users the ability to work remotely and flexibly.

By unifying business communications in the cloud on 8x8's global communications platform, public sector organisations can improve internal and external collaboration, regardless of location as well as significantly raise customer satisfaction.

To be accepted into the framework, every organisation must go through a thorough vetting process to ensure that only the best and most secure are included. This is the 4th time 8x8 has been accepted into the G-Cloud framework.

Kevin Scott-Cowell, 8x8 UK MD, comments, “We’re really pleased to be working with such innovative and forward-thinking public sector organisations. We understand that they want to be treated like any other commercial business with employees to look after, customers to delight and a bottom line to protect. It’s a great achievement for us to be part of the G-Cloud 8.”
