Aastra launches attractive new promotions to incentivise resellers

Aastra UK and Ireland has launched two promotions designed to target competitors and help resellers to migrate Aastra’s installed base to the Aastra 400 range of communication servers.

Aastra’s first promotion offers a discount on the award-winning Aastra 400 range when displacing technology from a number of competitors including Cisco and Avaya.

In addition to this, Aastra is offering a discount on Aastra 400 when resellers replace an existing Aastra IntelliGate or BusinessPhone (BusinessPhones were originally sold under the Ericsson brand. Aastra acquired the enterprise communication business from Ericsson in 2008).

Alan Reeve, Managing Director of Aastra UK and Ireland, says: “These new promotions will help our resellers to both secure the customers they already have and to win new business. The Aastra 400 series combines a range of Unified Communications and Collaboration applications, mobility solutions and user centric devices into a single solution for small and medium sized businesses. According to research from independent analyst company, MZA, Aastra is Europe’s leading vendor in the SMB market.

US-based research firm Current Analysis has conducted an independent product assessment on the Aastra 400 describing it as “….threatening in the market for SMB communications platforms,” the report highlights the Aastra 400’s ability to challenge other vendors and compete in the enterprise communications market as a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) solution.

The promotions will run until 31st December 2012 and full terms are available through Aastra UK.
