Basildon based Actimax, has grown in a decade from the brainchild of Founder John Massey to a successful company in both the UK and Europe with a £7 million turnover.
Massey presided over a celebration dinner at the Chiquito Mexican cuisine restaurant – close to the Actimax headquarters in Luckyn Lane – for almost 50 staff, plus representatives of clients.
The big surprise of the evening was for Marc Good who has been with Actimax since its birth in 1997. He was rewarded for his loyalty with Virgin vouchers that offer the choice of a performance car track day, theatre trips and family days out at theme parks.
Good said: “It was a proud moment to have my contribution recognised. I started with Actimax in the early days and we have grown together. We have always been so busy that those 10 years have gone very quickly.”
Actimax Managing Director John Massey, who later hosted a 10-pin bowling evening, said: “It was a very enjoyable evening and a great get together. The staff at Actimax is a very close-knit unit and they have all contributed over the past 10 years to a successful period in which we have grown beyond expectations.”
Over the past 10 years Actimax has achieved business awards in Essex, nationally and in Europe with its strong reputation for customer service and reliability.
