AdEPT Makes Inroads in Public Sector

Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office, has made it clear that he wants to see 25% of all Central Government spend to be given to small and medium-sized businesses by 2015. AdEPT Telecom has taken this to heart and this week announced that they had been awarded their 3rd Public Sector Telecom Framework.

Ian Fishwick, CEO said,"a telecom framework means that a public sector organisation doesn't need to go out to tender; they can just order things from us directly. We started with data networks for Universities. Then we moved on to Telecoms for local government and we had spectacular success very quickly with 6 County Councils moving to AdEPT in 6 months. Now we have been awarded a central government framework by the Government Procurement Service, the purchasing arm of the Cabinet Office.

The savings on landline and broadband are huge. On average Councils are saving around 30% by moving to AdEPT Telecom. Pembrokeshire County Council alone saved £100,000 a year."
