Held last night at the Royal Garden Hotel in London, GetJar was on hand to collect the prestigious Best App Store Award in front of its defeated rivals, which included Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore and the Nokia Store.
Voted for by an esteemed judging panel of 400 mobile industry executives, GetJar was honoured with the award due to its unique business model, which offers consumers premium apps for free, whilst providing an unrivalled distribution platform and healthy return for developers, as well as access to millions of users for advertisers.
