ASC to Demonstrate VoIP Recording at Cisco Conference

Next-Generation Solution Provides Hybrid Recording in a Dedicated Cisco Product Line

ASC, a global provider of solutions to record, analyze and evaluate communications, will demonstrate its latest VoIP recording solutions, EVOip active and EVOip+ for Cisco, at the Cisco Networkers conference in Cannes later this month.

The company says Cisco Networkers is one of the industry's key events for networking professionals and a one-stop opportunity to keep up with the latest developments, technologies and products.

At the conference, ASC will demonstrate sophisticated next-generation VoIP recording solutions, perfectly integrated into Cisco's environment.

EVOip active and EVOip+ for Cisco were approved through the Cisco Technology Developer Program and certified for interoperability with Cisco CallManager. They include multiple recording profiles, web-based search-and-replay functions, and IP phone applications.

Bernd Ottow, Product Line Manager VoIP at ASC, noted, "By offering a dedicated product line to Cisco users, we are able to provide unique proprietary features. Thus, ASC and Cisco together create a synergy for their mutual customers."

ASC's VoIP recording solutions for Cisco are software-based without any need for proprietary hardware. They are connected to Cisco CallManager to capture both voice and call-index data and are specially designed to decode Cisco's SCCP, generally referred to as the Skinny Protocol, and Cisco's SIP (Session Initiation Protocol).

ASC's solutions provide recording and analysis of all electronic communications and customer interactions. They include Voice over IP recording; liability recording for public-safety organizations, government agencies and financial institutions; quality monitoring for systematic evaluation and analysis of the entire communications process; and speech processing, a term used for content analysis through keyword spotting, emotion detection and speaker recognition based on the recording of spoken words.
