Headed by John Pett, Sales Director UK, the team has been split into two distinct areas of focus, airtime and Unified Communications. Edith Rose has been promoted to National Sales Manager to head up the Unified Communications team and Tracie Fawcett, previously Group Head of Mobile at Daisy Retail, has joined Avenir Telecom in the newly created role of Sales Director - Airtime.
Fawcett joined Daisy in October 2009 and also held the roles of Head of SME 250 and Director of Field Sales. She has worked in the Telecoms Industry since 2002, including roles at Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U where she also worked with John Pett. In addition, Rob Kittler joins Avenir Telecom following a long career at 3G Comms.
The new positions will allow John Pett to concentrate strategically on the three channels of the Avenir Telecom business: airtime, accessories and online/franchise services. Avenir Accessories and www.connectingbusiness.com (which is actively recruiting for Franchise Owners currently) are now businesses in their own right and key growth areas of the business for 2012 and beyond.
