With 25 years of international management experience in the IT and multimedia sectors and following 10 years spearheading the UK, Netherlands and Nordics business at Magirus, Andrew Binding has been named VP South region, Avnet Technology Solutions EMEA. In this new capacity Andrew will take responsibility for operations in France, Benelux, Italy and Iberia. Previously, Andrew was at Creative Labs Europe and Alta Vista, and most recently has led Avnet’s EMC, Cisco and VCE relationships within Avnet’s Enterprise Business Group in EMEA.
Miriam Murphy, who took on the additional responsibility for the region in October 2012 during the Magirus integration process, will now focus on her role as SVP Enterprise Business Group EMEA.
