Azlan is Named Cisco Collaboration Distribution Partner Of The Year 2011

Azlan, the enterprise networking division of Computer 2000, has been named as Cisco’s Collaboration Distribution Partner of the Year 2011, in recognition of its achievements in engaging with value-added resellers and enabling them to take the vendor’s leading unified communications, collaboration, video and telepresence solutions to market.

In addition, the award recognises the contribution Azlan has made over the past year in supporting former TANDBERG resellers and ensuring they were able to integrate and align their businesses with the Cisco Partner Program.

Mark Wheeler, Azlan Cisco Business Unit Director, stated: “This is a very significant award, as Collaboration is one of Cisco’s five priorities, as well as being core to Azlan’s Good to Great strategy. This is a very important market for the channel now. By providing focused engagement and resources around Collaboration solutions, Azlan is enabling resellers to develop their knowledge and capabilities and drive new business in this key growth segment of the market.”

Following the completion of Cisco’s acquisition of the specialist video conferencing company in April earlier this year, Azlan worked with Cisco to deliver a comprehensive support initiative that allowed existing TANDBERG resellers to transition smoothly into the Cisco Partner Programme. Azlan has quickly become the leading distributor for Cisco Video and Collaboration solutions in Europe.

Wheeler added: “Azlan has built a strong capability and presence in Collaboration and Telepresence and now is the time to move forward and look to the future. We are excited about the new portfolio of solutions that Cisco is bringing to market and the many opportunities that they will bring to partners.”
