Azzurri Sunday Times Tip

Voice and data reseller Azzurri Communications has been celebrating after being placed in the Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 announced yesterday.

Profit Track 100 ranks Britain's fastest-growing medium-sized private companies by profit growth over the last three years.

Azzurri has been applauded for driving up profits 77 per cent a year, from £1.4m in 2002 to £8m in 2005, with particular reference being made to Azzurri's 15 strategic acquisitions and consolidation in the converged voice and data market.

This is the first time that Azzurri has been featured in this annual nationwide survey of the country's most dynamic independent companies.

Commenting on the company's placement in the league table, chief executive officer at Azzurri, Martin St. Quinton said: "Appearing in this year's Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 is a great testament to all the hard work that has gone into making Azzurri such a successful and profitable company. Being named as one of the fasting growing by profit growth over the last three years is an outstanding achievement and something that we aim to build on year on year."

Azzurri's customers include George Wimpey, B&Q, Waterstone's, FPD Savills and University of College London Hospitals (UCLH).

Profit Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each April, with an awards event in June and regional dinners throughout the year.
