These changes are designed to effectively position Matrix42 for the mobile and cloud era, while also helping the company cope with the increasing speed and complexity of technology cycles as well as the rising expectations of customers with regard to IT workspace management.

“The appointment of Oliver Bendig to CTO will infuse both the Product Management and Product Development departments with even more energy and vitality,” says Jochen Jaser, CEO of Matrix42. “A dynamic Product Management team and a strong Product Development department work closely together. They are of critical importance to our customers and to the future of countless software providers. Bendig has years of experience in the field of workspace management. He has just the right combination of strategic and technological skills, making him ideally suited to the tasks he will be performing as CTO.”

Bendig will lead the product strategy, roadmap and development of the entire Matrix42 product portfolio. Bendig’s dynamic team of just under 80 developers, product managers, architects, and quality engineers are now in a position to meet customer needs faster and at a higher level of quality than ever before.

“Oliver Bendig’s excellent knowledge of the market and his strong desire to discover what the customer needs and develop the solutions to match this are valuable assets. COO Michael Schmidt and I are very pleased about his appointment to the position of CTO,” adds Jaser.
