Brightstar Europe has announced a distribution agreement with Nokia. The agreement will focus mainly on the IT reseller market, value added resellers (VARs) and the B2B sector in France.

This arrangement is part of a broader market development strategy being pursued by Brightstar Europe in France, which aims to offer resellers a complete range of communication products, such as mobile phones and smartphones.

Brightstar Europe intends to highlight, through this relationship with Nokia, its role as a value-added distributor by offering the various operators in the market its advanced logistical services, including customisation and integration, thereby helping to develop Nokia’s marketshare, especially for smartphones.

Nokia’s entire range of products is now available from Brightstar Europe in France.

Rod Millar, president of Brightstar Europe, stated: “The agreement with Nokia enhances our portfolio significantly and represents a major step forward for our business in France. It means that all the mobile dealers, resellers and VARs for whom Nokia is a major product line, can now take full advantage of the value added services and unrivalled stock and logistics that Brightstar Europe offers.”

Marcelo Claure, chairman, president and CEO of Brightstar Corporation, added: “Brightstar Europe is experiencing extraordinary growth, and continues to further expand its services and solutions offerings across Europe. This latest agreement with Nokia in France is a reflection of the strong commitment we are making, both within key markets and across the entire region.”
