Call Management now available for Microsoft Lync Server 2010

MIND C.T.I. the provider of call management and billing solutions, and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has announced the availability of PhonEX ONE for Microsoft Lync Server 2010.

Lync Server 2010 ushers in a connected experience transforming communication into interactions that are more collaborative, engaging and accessible from virtually anywhere. A single interface unites voice, IM, audio-, video-, and web-conferencing into a richer, more contextual offering and a single identity makes it easier and more efficient for users to find contacts, check their availability and connect with them. Lync Server 2010 works with Microsoft Office, enriching the experience of familiar applications like Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft SharePoint, and more.

Working with Microsoft, MIND is ready to deliver the reporting and monitoring capabilities of PhonEX ONE in a Lync Server 2010 environment coincident with the release of Lync Server 2010. PhonEX ONE now reports not only on ‘traditional’ call management information such as inbound, outbound and internal calls and voice traffic utilization, but also on Lync Server specific information including conferences, video calls and instant messages.

“Microsoft is pleased to be working with MIND C.T.I. to offer customers solutions on Lync that make their communications environment simple to analyze and manage,” said Yancey Smith, director of product management, Microsoft Lync. “The results for our mutual customers are improved employee productivity, reduced costs, and a more efficient communications network.”

Mark Armstrong, Managing Director at MIND UK commented “We have been working with Microsoft to deliver a fully functional call management solution. The Lync Server 2010-compatible release of PhonEX ONE will ensure that businesses can optimise the benefits of deploying Microsoft’s unified communication solution.”

Armstrong concluded, “We are extremely excited about the proposition that MIND are taking to the market with Microsoft and are confident that users will be as delighted with the solution as we are.”
