Channel Telecom recognises partner success for 2012 growth

Channel Telecom, the fast growing provider of business telecommunication services to the UK channel, has held a ‘Reward and Recognition’ evening for its channel partners and suppliers to celebrate success over the past year

In a fun packed evening over 50 invited guests from a range of companies in the comms industry and the media attended the event. All enjoyed the great atmosphere provided by the Corney and Barrow wine bar in the heart of the City of London with a free bar and canapés to fuel the party atmosphere.

To applause and congratulations four partners gained awards for:

• Dealer partner of the year

• Reseller partner of the year

• IP Voice partner of the year

• Growth partner of the year

But top honours for Overall Partner of the Year went to Company Telecom. The award was made to John Bradbury, Managing Director of Company Telecom, who receives an all-expenses paid trip to the US Masters golf tournament held at Augusta, Georgia from 2 to 8 April 2012. The prize includes business class flights; full hospitality day for the preview par three tournament; Magnolia Hospitality for the opening day at the Masters; and three more days staying at Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee, Greensboro, Georgia, home to five championship golf courses.

There was an additional award for Supplier Partner of the Year which went to BT Wholesale for its unstinting support for Channel Telecom during the course of 2011. This rounded out a terrific evening for partners, suppliers and friends of Channel Telecom.

Commenting on the partner awards, Clifford Norton, Managing Director of Channel Telecom said, “It’s vitally important that we recognise the efforts of our partners and suppliers because our success depends on their success. Last year was one of phenomenal growth for Channel Telecom and this year promises to be even better with a bulging forward order book for MPLS installations and converged network solutions. When we launched only three years ago we were determined to be new style supplier of wholesale network services based on openness, honesty, simplicity and transparency. And we want to have some fun doing it!”
