A four-man team led by Clifford Norton of Channel Telecom has won the Communications sector heat of the 2010 Sportingclass Industry Invitational golf competition. The team, which includes talkSPORT presenter and ex-England cricketer Ronnie Irani, won an extremely-close fought contest at The Grove against 15 other teams, with a nerve-racking, final-hole birdie sealing their victory.
The finals of the competition will take place over two rounds at the White Witch championship course in Rose Hall, Jamaica at the end of October. This inspiring and breathtaking course covers over 600 acres of dramatic land overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Clifford’s team will be representing our industry against the winners of nine other sector heats including IT, Commercial Property, Construction, and Finance.
