Chess Acquires Compwise

Chess continues with its growth strategy by snapping up IT systems provider Compwise Systems Limited.

The acquisition will see Compwise Systems become part of Chess Corporate Solutions, adding 3 new people and an additional £400k annual turnover to the group.

The business will be combined within the Chess Partner Services team at the Chess office located in Borehamwood.

The acquisition further supports Chess’ vision to enable complete end-to-end solutions for businesses while further supporting their existing IT portfolio.

Chess Chief Executive David Pollock sees the acquisition as, bolstering the future of Chess ICT offering, “Compwise Limited have flourished as a total IT solution provider since 1992; they possess a wide and varied knowledge base to provide great support for the technical needs of all businesses. Compwise joins ebillz, Integra ICT, Avenir Telecom, Parachute IT and The CRM business as companies acquired by Chess that will further extend the group’s portfolio of services and takes Chess’ acquisition total to over 90 companies to date.
