Managed services provider Claranet has entered The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 for the first time

Published earlier this month, the league table ranks the top 200 privately-owned companies in Britain according to growth in international sales over the last two years. One of only a handful of IT-focused companies and the only managed services provider on the list, Claranet secured the rank of 118 on the list, having grown its international presence by 29 per cent between June 2012 and June 2014.

Established in the UK in 1996, Claranet has evolved into a full-service managed services provider with a presence in six European countries. Having maintained its financial independence since it was founded, the company has been free to pursue international expansion opportunities and been able to remain agile in the face of changing market opportunities.

Charles Nasser, CEO of Claranet, commented: “The IT services industry is undergoing a rapid shift as businesses globally look to move their on-premises IT to cloud-based environments in a bid to increase productivity and drive competitive advantage. Claranet is uniquely positioned to seize this market opportunity both in the UK and in Europe, and in a rapidly changing technology sector our combination of a strong local presence and international reach is helping us to lead the charge on international markets."
