Comms-care expands Knowledge Centre

Channel IT Support Partner Comms-care has recently embarked on their own crusade to bridge the IT skills gap by adding further skill sets to their ‘Knowledge Centre’ IT training facility through achieving “Cisco Learning Partner Associate” status.

Through their new “Cisco Learning Partner Associate” status the leading Channel Cisco Gold Partner is now able to offer both partners and their clients Authorized Cisco Training Courses at a purpose built IT training facility, located in their Cheshire HQ.

The company says that what makes their proposition unique to other IT training organisations is the fact that the courses are permanently run by senior members of Comms-care’s Advanced Technical Services (ATS) team. The ATS team consists of highly experienced engineers and consultants who are senior field-based experts possessing onsite experience across many leading vendor platforms and technologies.

The initial Cisco course offering will be focused around the Cisco Associate level certifications including the ICND 1 and ICND 2, which lead to the CCENT and CCNA certifications. Over the coming months, the list of available courses will increase with CCNA Security and CCNA wireless courses added with design and professional level courses planned for late 2012.

Darren Briscoe, Technical Director at Comms-care states “We continually re-invest a lot of resource into ensuring we remain a centre of technical and service excellence for all our channel partners. By adopting this strategy and adding services such as the ‘Knowledge Centre’ to our existing portfolio partners feel confident in our ability to be a strategic, integral, support provider who adds value at every point of engagement.”

In addition to the Cisco Learning Partner Associate, Comms-care has also recently been accredited with the Collaboration Architecture Specialization as part of the Cisco Resale Channel Programme. The Specialization enables interactions between customers, partners and suppliers to be carried out from any location in a secure and manageable environment, allowing Comms-care’s engineers to work closely with their Channel Partners and their end users on projects to provide functional, scalable and supportable solutions.

Briscoe then goes on to say, “As the IT Channel’s only support provider set up to provide Cisco courses in this way we feel that is illustrates our dedication to not only our existing partners, but the Channel as a whole. IT skills are much in demand and Comms-care are doing all we can to facilitate any of our partners’ requirements to ensure they remain one step ahead of the competition.”
