Comms-care selected as UK’s first channel-only Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Partner

Comms care, the strategic support services partner to the IT channel community, has achieved Identity Services Engine (ISE) Partner status in the Cisco Authorised Technology Partner (ATP) Program.

By achieving ISE partner status, Comms-care has become the UK’s first ATP channel-only support organisation that is able to offer services on how to sell, design, install and support the specific ISE technologies and products in the ATP program.

Identified by Cisco as a suitable channel-only partner, Comms-care has achieved this new status having met all of the requirements and criteria necessary in the ATP program. One of the main requirements is that Comms-care had to hold the Advanced Borderless Network Architecture Specialization, which Comms-care already holds among many other Cisco Specialisations.

Darren Briscoe, Technical Director at Comms-care, commented on the achievement: “Comms-care continuously works with industry bodies, partners and vendors to ensure our support services are relevant, up to date and at the forefront of technology. Cisco approached us about becoming a channel-only ISE partner to enable resellers who don’t have the necessary skill sets to access them from a trusted Cisco Gold Partner like ourselves.”

The ISE is a core component of the Cisco TrustSec solution and Cisco Securex Architecture and provides security, compliance and efficiency for end-user networks. Comms-care can now further enhance channel partners’ offerings in terms of Cisco support for their end-user customers and expand its current portfolio of Cisco support services.

Briscoe said: “By adding another Cisco partner accreditation to our ever expanding portfolio of Cisco Specialisations, we can offer channel partners and their end-user customers a more complete support package.” Comms-care will also be recognised as an ISE Partner in the Cisco partner locator on its website.
