Computer 2000 Gets Positive Results On The Road

Distributor Computer 2000 has declared its latest round of Connection Roadshows a big success after well over 100 resellers turned up to events in Liverpool, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Leeds earlier this month. The company has since seen a significant uplift in engagement and levels of business with most of the customers who attended.

Marketing General Manager for Computer 2000, Sally Murdoch, said: “We were really pleased with the attendance and the positive response we’ve received from the resellers who came along – many of whom we had traded with only sporadically before. They were able to learn more about the many different ways in which we can make it easier for them to do business better – from providing online services and credit, to the focused pre-sales support and expertise that we provide through our specialist business units. We are already seeing the results in terms of the amount of business we do with many of the resellers who came to see us in Liverpool, Newcastle, and Leeds.”

Many resellers also showed a keen interest in marketing services and support, she added. “A lot of resellers were keen to talk to us about how our marketing team can help them to drive new business and get the most out of vendor channel programmes. Right now, with all customers looking to get maximum value from their IT spend, marketing is more important than ever and but it’s an area in which many resellers don’t have expertise We can help then to build and execute effective campaigns and programmes, generate leads and provide the support them need to follow them through and win new business.”

Computer 2000 is planning to take the Connection Roadshows to three more regional venues in the New Year. In the summer, it visited Elstree, Walsall and Bournemouth. Over the course of the year, it will be held at many more locations across the UK.
