Coms Compliant Call Recording

A new call recording service introduced by Coms plc ensures that companies bound by compliance regulations - such as the Data Protection Act and FSA Rules - to legally hold conversational records, can now do so for only £15 a month.

The company says that with Coms Record, users in the Financial, Professional Services, Medical or Legal sectors can have permanent audio recording for all phone users in their business or selected individuals using the Coms Hosted Platform. The service can also be set up on the Coms Conferencing service and so be listened to later if missed.

No additional phone numbers or equipment are needed and recordings are made in high quality .wav audio files stored on Coms servers against all the user’s call records. Audio files can be accessed straight from the Coms platform next to a call record, downloaded, or emailed. The call recording service has a £15 monthly charge per user with records stored for a three months period.

Says Coms CEO Richard Bennett: ‘In addition to the compliance benefits, our new system can also help in resolving internal and external disputes with customers or suppliers. It eliminates the need for note taking and can be used for employee performance and staff training purposes.
