Concorde Excel Holdings Acquires RW Communications

Concorde Excel Holdings has announced that it is merging its subsidiary, the IT support and managed services provider Concorde Informatics, with network solutions and support company, RW Communications.

Concorde says the integration of technical and services delivery skills of both companies will strengthen and enhance the Group's ability to provide a comprehensive range of IT management, maintenance and support services to business customers throughout the UK. Through RW Communications’ established presence in the South East, Concorde Excel expects further rapid growth of its business.

RW Communications’ clients will have immediate access to the Group's comprehensive products and services portfolio, improved economies of scale and nationwide customer service capability. Concorde's clients will benefit from enhanced network services capability and a stronger technical and services presence in the South East and North West of England.

Colin Meakin, Chief Executive at Concorde, said: "We recognised the strategic benefit of combining the strengths of both companies, and were excited by the synergistic benefits of the combination.

“RW Communications Ltd has earned its reputation for customer service and technical excellence through continuous performance. It is our aim to build on these values as we expand our overall service offerings, delivering a progressive and innovative range of services that customers need and indeed demand in today's competitive environment."

This latest deal follows a number of recent acquisitions by Concorde Excel Holdings in the past year, including IT Services Provider Phase CRS Ltd and more recently Control Key, the North West-based IT security specialist. Concorde Excel Holdings Ltd expects the combined Group of companies to generate revenues of circa £10 million in the next year.

Colin Meakin will continue as CEO of the enlarged organisation. RW Communications Ltd directors, Russell Whitlock and David Cooper will stay with the business in the immediate future, working as consultants from the Stockley Park site.

The Concorde Group of companies will now operate from offices in Leeds, Blackburn and Stockley Park, near Heathrow, employing approximately 75 staff. Concorde aims to continue to grow its business both organically and through further strategic acquisitions.
