Conference Sale Soar as Travel Costs Examined

Distributor Nimans is urging more resellers to get on the road to success as the economic downturn continues to bite. Nimans says demand for audio conferencing is surging due to companies slamming the brakes on business travel for staff - unless journeys are absolutely necessary.

Nimans has just notched-up record monthly sales of audio conferencing products and expects these trends to continue as more companies look for effective ways to cut costs.

“There’s never been a better time for dealers to be promoting the benefits of audio conferencing,” commented Ian Brindle, Head of Conferencing Sales. “The arguments for audio conferencing are well-known, providing a genuine alternative to business travel, saving time as well as money.

“A quick return on investment is one of the biggest factors for any business spending money in these tougher trading times. It can be a difficult obstacle for dealers to overcome, but not with audio conferencing as just a couple of lengthy business trips will pay for a standard unit.”

Ian concluded: “We are aware of a growing number of companies who are cutting back on business trips to save costs, telling staff to avoid travelling unless absolutely necessary. This opens-up more sales opportunities for dealers to capitalise on.”
