Convergence Summit North launchpad from Nimans

Nimans is launching its new 2012 Spring catalogue at this year’s Convergence Summit North trade show - as the distributor continues to set the standard for UC communications based on a 30-year trading pedigree. More than 6,500 products from over 250 suppliers feature in the 450 page directory.

To celebrate the launch, visitors to Manchester Central can apply for details to win a trip for two on the Orient Express – travelling from London to Paris for a luxury stay with flights home.

“The 2012 Spring catalogue is a must-have tool for all voice and data specialists,” said Chairman and MD Julian Niman. “It’s a quick and easy reference point, packed with thousands of products that encapsulate the ever-evolving world of communications. Visitors to Convergence Summit North will be able to receive their own personal free copy.”

Nimans is also showcasing the UK’s first-ever IP payphones which are being hailed as a major breakthrough. The popular Solitaire 6000 and 6000HS models have been injected with IP functionality to create payphones with added power.

Available exclusively from Nimans, the network-based devices offer the potential of low-cost calls and a plethora of useful owner features – not available on standard payphones – such as return missed calls, prevent anonymous calls and block caller ID.

In addition Nimans has joined forces with Gigaset to unveil the new N720PRO IP DECT multicell system for seamless multi-user wireless mobility. Summit North also sees Nimans’ Head of Networks, Mark Curtis-Wood, team-up with O2 for an educational seminar about making margin with mobile comms. Mark is also taking part in a panel debate about the future role of distributors.
