ConvergeoOne further strengthens team with three new starters

Manchester-based ConvergeOne, the telephony, cloud and IT services specialist, has further strengthened its team with three new appointments in key positions.

Paul Nock joins as a Data Centre Consultant, Paul Day as a Technical Design Authority and Clare McKnight as Client Services Manager.

Nock joins the company from ANS Group and has over 14 years experience in the industry with over five years working with Cisco products. Nock is a Cisco Unified Computing Support Specialist as well as holding Netapp and VMWare accreditations.

McKnight joins from Vodafone, where she was an Account Manager, handling many high profile enterprise accounts such as Sinclair Knight Merz, Timpson’s, Sayers the Bakers and The General Medical Council. McKnight has over 10 years experience and will be a key addition to the team, managing ConvergeOne’s clients such as Morson Group, First Step Finance, ColorMatrix and Pannone.

Day has extensive experience working in the Housing Technology sector, having spent seven years working at Metropolitan Housing Partnership in various roles and latterly as Network and Telephony Support Manager, responsible for third line support on all of MHP’s network and telephony infrastructure. Day is Nortel, Novell and Microsoft certified. Day will be primarily based at customer sites in the Southern region.

ConvergeOne has grown dramatically since its inception in 2008 and now recruits 18 people, with plans to expand to 25 by the end of 2014. The business works closely with Skills Solutions to recruit apprentices and has seen 6 young people complete apprentice schemes to become Microsoft and Cisco certified.
