A financial brain with years of experience within the UK market place has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Servassure.

Steve Walsh-Hill (40), of Cheshire, brings a wealth of management skills to the third party services provider for the telecoms market.

He will based at Servassure’s Harlow offices and will lead the growth of the restructured company following Daisy Group Plc’s acquisition of the business.

Having qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant, Walsh-Hill has spent the majority of his career in the retail sector where he held a number of senior finance roles, including Finance Director at Blackwell’s and Galaxy Optical Services.

He was shortlisted for the Accountancy Age Growing Business FD of the Year and North West FD of the Year in 2008.

Walsh-Hill said: “I am delighted to get the opportunity of continuing the work I have already started with the team at Servassure and am really enjoying the challenge of building the company into a leading white label services provider within the telecoms marketplace.

Servassure Sales Director Peter Orr is delighted with Walsh-Hill’s appointment and believes he will take the company from the strength to strength.

“Since the Daisy take-over, Servassure has signed up more than 40 new customers and our proposition is only getting stronger.

“Steve is already an instrumental player in the Servassure team and his knowledge and skills acquired through the years will be greatly beneficial in our future plans. I look forward to working with him to achieve continued success.”

Daisy CEO Matthew Riley added: “I am delighted to have Steve join the group. He has already done an excellent job for us at Servassure since the acquisition.

“We have now empowered the directors of Servassure, invigorated the brand and will run Servassure as a stand-alone business under the Daisy umbrella. I believe the company is a really valuable asset in the Daisy portfolio.

“Daisy made its name on the back of excellent customer service and we are looking forward to seeing Steve push forward this priceless commodity within Servassure.”
