Daisy Distribution hold partner Deal Clinics

Networks & Network Services
Daisy Distribution says it was in the unique position of being able to invite all three of its partner networks – O2, Vodafone and Orange – to the channel-wide deal clinic at Hogarths Hotel in Solihull recently.

The aim of the Dragon’s Den-style meetings, previously held in Newcastle and Suffolk earlier this year, is to allow partners to pitch business opportunities and development ideas in a bid to win support from the trio of participating mobile networks.

Julien Parven, Marketing Director at Daisy Distribution, said partners saw the event as a fantastic opportunity to fully engage with the networks to understand their path and what strategic direction they were taking in the channel:

He added: “Our latest clinic in the West Midlands was every bit of a success as the previous two, if not more successful.

“At the event in Suffolk, we engaged with 28 unique partners, sat in excess of 40 deal clinic appointments and uncovered opportunities for 1600+ connections.

“And at our latest clinic, we engaged with 23 partners; sat 37 individual deal clinic appointments: and discussed business opportunities totaling some 2422 connections.

“This again is an excellent result for us, the partners and the networks.”

The deal clinic was split into three main streams; formal presentations from network partners and key application partners, individual deal clinic meetings, and a ‘breakout room’ where each of the network and application partners will be demonstrating throughout the afternoon.

The event was headlined by a network-agnostic BlackBerry presentation, showcasing the latest devices as well as sharing sales techniques and activities partners which can take back into their own businesses.

Destiny Wireless and Wireless Logic were also presenting their solutions in partnership with Daisy Distribution.

The afternoon session was dedicated to partner deal clinic appointments, interspersed with a presentation on a core topic of choice from each of the three network partners.

In between the presentations, delegates were able to return to the demonstration area where all providers were available to present and demonstrate.

Julien added: “Having held three of these events now since May, we are very pleased to have found a winning formula that not only engages our partners and the networks, but brings about some real valid business opportunities which we have seen come into fruition.
