Daisy Throws Down Gauntlet with New Broadband Offer

daisy is taking on the channel with one of its most competitive products yet.

Following a successful roll-out to its end user business customers, the “Optimum Broadband” range has been launched to daisy’s dealer and wholesale partners.

Business partners are being offered a highly competitive product with aggressive commission plans, while resellers are able to take advantage of a white label product, giving them opportunity to take on the larger ISPs.

The new offering is daisy’s first major foray into offering IP-based products to its partners, and a first step down what the company sees as the major route to IP-based services.

“daisy has been testing products under its data banner and finalising and developing solutions in this range for some time,” said data product manager Cathryn Whitefoot.

“We believe we have an aggressive business broadband product for the SMB, falling in line with our current portfolio of data services which will be further enhanced with additional IP-based products.”

Business partners are set to benefit from a generous commission payments for every new connection. And with the “Optimum” product meeting the Quality of Service requirements, it marks the first phase of daisy’s IP services deployment to partners and paves the way for them to offer forthcoming IP solutions.

daisy’s director of sales, Mark Hickey, said: “The Optimum product makes use of Next Generation Networking, which many competitors don’t yet have access to, providing business contention ratios and fast internet access, all of which make it an attractive and saleable proposition for resellers and business partners to retail.

“This offer underlines daisy’s position as a true provider of unified communications in the channel and we are sure rivals will struggle to match the product for price, quality and commission.”
