Daisy transformed into scare-fest!

Spooky, scary scenes were the order of day as staff Daisy celebrated Halloween. Departmental staff went all out to transform the two storey office into a chilling fright fest.

Competing against other departments, the cross sales team pulled out all the stops to create an eerie asylum and everyone agreed that they were the true winners.

John Frost, cross sales team leader, said: “It is really important for our guys to work as a team to get the sales in and if we can bring some enjoyment into team building exercises then all the better.

“We each put in some money and went out and bought or made scary things which would create the desired look for our asylum. We put plastic sheeting right around our department so that others couldn’t see in and it looked scarily realistic.

“Well done to all the staff who used lunch hours and after work time to create the asylum, they definitely deserved to win.

“The only worry now is what kind of people do we have working for us!”

Prizes for individual fancy dress went to telephone account managers Laura Hopkinson and Hannah Watson who dressed up as witches.

Daisy CEO Matthew Riley said: “All of our staff use their free time to prepare for our fancy dress fun events and all credit to them, they really get involved.

“It’s important to have a good work/life balance and I think our Halloween event certainly raised a few laughs and smiles, as well as a few screams!”
