Microsoft’s top UC man Mark Deakin is set to raise cash for a cancer charity later this year and is asking for help.
“As Product Manager for UC, you may have an image of me sitting at my desk, communicating via my keyboard, only getting off my seat to go to lunch. Up until the end of last year you were probably not far off. With 8 years at Microsoft I have not only accumulated some shares but also a few’ stone’ on the process.
Earlier this year I started running, clocking up 300 miles and ran the Reading Half Marathon. I am now training for a full Marathon in November, reaching 1000 miles by race day and I am looking to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
