Dealers Urged To Get ‘Savi’ With Nimans And Plantronics

Resellers are being urged to embrace the continued evolution of the headset market which mirrors more general convergence trends and creates greater integration of voice and data communications.

The launch of the new Savi family of headsets from Plantronics symbolises the current state of play and is being hailed as the industry’s first suite of Unified Communications wireless headset systems that integrate multiple devices and applications for improved business collaboration and cost savings.

James Burns, Headset Business Manager at distributor Nimans, says continued advances in headset technology are creating more sales opportunities for resellers.

“There is now a greater need for one headset device to link traditional phone usage with mobile or soft phone calls. The Savi family currently offers two headset systems designed specifically for office or mobile workers. It offers the first glimpse of where the market is heading, providing greater convenience and flexibility for end users.”

James emphasised: “Computer-based telephony is a growing area of the market and dealers should embrace the latest trends to maximise their own sales potential - and offer a degree of future-proofing their customers’ headset requirements.

“The most successful resellers sell headsets right from the start of the sales process and the launch of the stylish Savi headset system represents another significant step forward in headset integration.”
