Digital expand their Technical Team

Digital Exchange Ltd, the Sheffield based I.T and Telecommunications specialist has once again defied the ‘credit crunch’ with the recruitment of four professionals to expand their technical team.

The surge of employment coincides with Digital Exchange’s recent patronage with the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber.

Three of these four new employees are field engineers with a wide variety of expertise including Telecoms, I.T. and Network Cable Infrastructure.

Paul Burditt, formally of Halifax-based Eurotel, is trained in all aspects of Samsung Business Communications’ telecoms products. He has a working knowledge of Telrad Connergy and various other telephone systems. After over a decade of working within telecommunications Paul has joined Digital for a new challenge and to broaden his skill set.

Another two additions to the Digital team are Adrian Cochrane and Russell Slater. Both are experienced engineers and specialise in telecommunications and network cabling. Previously in engineering Adrian has worked as telephony engineer since 1995. Russell has worked for organisations in the I.T and Telecommunications sectors since 1977 where he began as an apprentice.

Responsible for Digital Exchange’s team of engineers is the new Operations Manager, James Hegarty. Working previously as Installations Manager at Torex Retail based in Sheffield, James has had an extensive career managing large teams and projects. James is no stranger to the ‘hands on’ approach as he spent a number of years as an I.T engineer himself.
