Doro goes HD

Doro is adding HD Voice (High Definition Voice) capabilities to its growing portfolio of easy-to-use mobile handsets.

Doro has introduced this pioneering audio technology into two of its feature phones – the Doro PhoneEasy 621 and Doro PhoneEasy 622. These 3G clamshell devices now offer continual high quality sound in all modes of operation - from the handset itself, via a connected headset and also when used in speakerphone mode.

Thomas Bergdahl, VP Product Development at Doro said: “We are always looking for new and innovative technologies to further improve our product offering. HD Voice is an extremely positive addition to our handsets as it takes our audio capabilities to the next level. It creates a significant differentiator within the market and enables us to enhance the quality of conversations. We are taking our unique three sound curve approach from feature phones into smartphones and HD.”

The development also introduces intelligent background noise reduction, along with improved clarity of sound. This makes it far easier for the user to focus their listening when in a noisy environment - where sound often merges into inaudible ‘white noise’.

Bergdahl concluded: “The end user benefits of HD Voice are immense and tangible. We have always championed superior sound quality in our devices and this moves that strategy positively forward.”
