Doyenz signs Blue Solutions as premier UK distributor

Doyenz Inc., a provider of cloud-based recovery services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced Blue Solutions as its flagship UK distributor as it establishes itself in the UK market as a 100% channel centric business.

Doyenz and Blue Solutions will be offering rCloud, a disaster recovery solution for SMBs that offers easy, rapid recovery in both physical and virtual environments, to a potential 3000+ MSPs and VARs across the UK.

“Blue Solutions already sells a portfolio of products into a channel community that fits extremely well with the Doyenz platform,” explains Eric Webster, Chief Revenue Officer at Doyenz, “They are also dedicated to helping their channel to transition to a service model and are committed to working closely with us to expand our business in the UK.”

With over 16 years experience, Berkshire based Blue Solutions is a leading specialist software distributor with a broad customer base of MSPs, VARs, System Integrators and Consultants, typically selling into the SMB and entry-level mid-market space. Blue Solutions specialities are security, backup, and productivity software, alongside server and desktop operating systems.

“The addition of Doyenz to our Vendor portfolio is a natural extension to our strategy to help our channel partners grow their businesses, and move seamlessly into higher value services whilst minimising capital investment and ongoing management burden,” explains Mark Charleton, Director and Co-Founder of Blue Solutions Ltd, “The new solution will be offered exclusively through our channel and provides a unique complete recovery service that is perfectly suited to the needs of the SMB with an attractive recurring revenue model.”

Doyenz is coinciding the new distribution agreement with the opening of a new data centre facility in the UK to provide a localised recovery option to meet privacy, compliance and legal jurisdiction concerns that end users may express. “All data and recovery platforms will be hosted within the UK at a high availability Tier 1 facility with no data moving out of the UK under any circumstances,” assured Webster.

The company says unlike traditional backup services that simply take data and store it off-site, rCloud is a true business continuity solution that provides a proven and validated recovery process with instant access to a central web-management portal where the service provider can manage their clients’ environments, allowing for fast access to all of their business critical applications in the cloud. Through its simple user interface, rCloud can restore virtual production server environments in less than fifteen minutes. By automating the recovery process, SMBs can reduce recovery time objectives and ensure the continuity of business operations. The service is backed up by a dedicated 24/7 support team as well as local sales and technical resources to help channel partners win deals.

“Our agreement with Blue Solutions is part of our commitment to expand our successful business in the US into Europe and underscores our belief that the channel is essential to help SMBs gain the full benefit of innovative new cloud based services,” explains Webster, “We will be announcing further channel programmes and European expansion plans over the next few months.”
