Easynet Invests in its Partner Programme

International managed hosting and networks company Easynet today announces a new structure for its UK channel programme, at an event at the Lloyds Building in London

Since its launch in 2003, Easynet's channel programme has grown rapidly, frequently delivering solutions for large international organisations with partners. Today's new structure recognises the increasing complexity of customers' requirements, creating a strategic 'eco-system' approach to strengthen relationships with the channel and build on the momentum of the existing programme.

Easynet is dedicated to providing unique, superbly managed solutions and its Channel strategy will reinforce this strategy, with 'value add' strategic partners. Where many vendors tie their partners into a 'gold, silver or bronze' structure, Easynet will organise partners according to their core skills and specialist knowledge. This will enable Easynet to make it easier to play to the strengths of each individual partner, to better support strategic partners, and to match more closely customer needs.

From today, there will be three categories for Easynet partners: Alliance Partners, Enterprise Solution Partners and Business Partners. Alliance Partners are those who provide global technology expertise; Enterprise Solution Partners are specialists in certain areas, such as Centrecore, who provide wireless access and security solutions; and Business Partners include distributors and resellers of network services.

Alan Ryan, European Alliance Director says: "Our channel programme has proved incredibly successful for both Easynet and the partners we work with. Together we've seen the Channel grow rapidly and contribute significant new business for all parties. We believe this is because, unlike other vendors, we pride ourselves on a responsive, accessible Channel team, and our focus on long-term, trusted partnerships which creates an 'eco-system' of expertise. This is reflected in our partner structure, from sales to service management, and our contractual arrangements with partners. The programme will see us sharing skills and expertise to deliver our partners - and their customers - with an outstanding customer experience"
