Eclipse Hit Target

Following on from their Halloween fundraising success, the Eclipse Million Makers team today announced their success at reaching their £10,000 fundraising target to support The Prince’s Trust.

Eclipse prides itself on its passionate people providing straightforward solutions and exceptional experience. Testimony to these values is the entrepreneurial team of Eclipse staff who signed up to the Million Makers challenge and dedicated their own time to raise funds for youth charity, The Prince’s Trust, who support disadvantaged young people and enable them to turn their lives around.

Setting an ambitious £10,000 target, the Eclipse Million Makers team set about the challenge in a number of ways. Their fundraising included hosting a highly successful Halloween Masquerade ball in Exeter, Eclipse’s home city; developing and launching a mobile app to support the Eclipse customer base and a schedule of smaller fund raising events throughout the 6 month challenge window.

Clodagh Murphy, Managing Director of Eclipse comments “Wow – what a brilliant result! It has been a real pleasure watching each member of the team develop and grow as they have tackled this challenge. While raising £10k is a huge feat, I think the bigger success is the skills that the team have gained in each of the activities they have undertaken to reach their goal. They have pushed themselves hard and they have done things that at the beginning they didn’t believe possible. I am immensely proud of each and every member of the team and I am looking forward to an Eclipse team taking part again next year.”

The Eclipse Million Makers Team can now sit back and relax over the Christmas season knowing that they have made a real difference to young people’s lives and successfully risen to the famous Million Makers challenge.
