Eclipse Internet welcomes Andrew Saunders

Eclipse Internet is delighted to welcome Andrew Saunders as the new Head of Product, responsible for continuing development of the new service propositions and building the product portfolio to move in line with the changing needs of its customers. Andrew will ensure that existing portfolios continue to evolve and that the upcoming launch of Eclipse Cloud and Eclipse Communicate will hit the spot and provide customers with a truly flexible solution to help them to grow their businesses.

He said: “It’s a really exciting time for the industry with the growth of cloud based applications and the continued roll-out of fibre optic based access products both happening in parallel. This makes it an exciting time to be joining Eclipse with their clear vision and future product roadmap that recognises the importance of it no longer being just about connectivity but the applications and services this enables to support evolving businesses. I’m looking forward to working with the team to help deliver these new propositions and products and support not only Eclipse’s growth but our customers too.”

Andrew joins the company from Zen Internet where he led both product and marketing for four years as Head of Product Management and Marketing, developing their connectivity portfolio and introducing a full suite of voice products. He previously led product teams across various voice systems manufacturers and telecom distributors.

Pete Tomlinson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Eclipse Internet, said: “We’ve all seen the impact of our recent new products, including Eclipse Connect, and the importance of this part of our business will only continue to grow as the Cloud and Communicate propositions come to market over the course of the next year, so it is a great time to have Andrew on-board. His experience and enthusiasm to develop the Eclipse product portfolio will enable us a business to continue to provide our customers with a host of business and application services to enable them to grow. I’m thrilled to have Andrew as part of the Eclipse team.”
