Embotics launches partner programme to help channel partners boost private cloud revenues

New programme to offer sales and marketing support, together with tools for resellers to grow license and service opportunities

Embotics Corporation announced the launch of its new partner programme aimed at resellers across the UK and Europe. The Embotics partner programme is designed to help channel partners grow their revenue streams by offering their customers easy-to-deploy virtualisation and private cloud management capabilities using the Embotics V-Commander® product.

“There has been rapid growth in the virtualisation space in recent years, with many resellers doing a great job selling VM (virtual machine) hypervisors and generating license revenue. However, to date many have struggled to make much services revenue,” said Martin Sajkowski, Director of International Operations at Embotics. “Virtualisation management and private cloud enablement technologies can be expensive and complex to deploy, which can be a barrier to resellers going the extra yard with customers. Embotics V-Commander is highly-accessible and cost-effective software which enables our partners to quickly offer value-added services and demonstrate ROI to their customers. The launch of our partner programme demonstrates our commitment to helping our partners diversify and sustain growth in a competitive market.”

“In a relatively short space of time, Embotics has offered great value to our business,” said John Armstrong, Director at Computerworld. “Embotics V-Commander is an easy-to-install solution requiring minimal staff training, which has allowed us to quickly initiate private cloud engagements with our customers and at the same time identify additional services opportunities. Throughout our partnership we have found the support provided by Embotics extremely beneficial to our business and our bottom line.”

Today many mid-sized organisations have already virtualised their IT environments but are now looking to improve the efficiency of their virtual data centres by creating private clouds. Embotics V-Commander can be installed and configured in a matter of minutes, giving resellers a head start in their customer engagement. This can help resellers identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in virtual data centres in addition to dramatically lowering the cost of the private cloud deployment process, resulting in higher service margins. Embotics V-Commander enables users to provision VMs themselves and manage the end-to-end workflow process, while offering chargeback and IT cost analysis. It also keeps private cloud resources optimised by providing a 360-degree view of the entire virtualised environment: eliminating virtual server sprawl, ensuring operational efficiency and thereby delivering cost and resource savings.

The Embotics partner programme has two levels: Authorised Reseller and Elite Reseller, offering partners discounts of up to 25%, while providing resellers with the tools and support they need to help their customers better manage their virtualised servers and move towards private cloud deployments. All partners will benefit from priority on-boarding, including onsite business and technical training; ongoing marketing support; as well as pre- and post-sales support. Unlike many partner programmes, Embotics takes the cost and complexity out of the process, enabling resellers to demonstrate the value of Embotics V-Commander to their customers in a matter of days. This means they can very quickly lay the foundations for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Through the partner programme, Embotics will offer support to resellers’ lead-generating activities such as direct marketing campaigns and webinars. Channel partners will be assisted with their private cloud go to market strategies and provided with templated information on how to use Embotics V-Commander for high-value service engagements. Embotics will also provide channel partners with extensive support to close important deals.

“Taking customers on journey from a virtual to a cloud infrastructure is a challenge for many resellers but at the same time it provides them with a great opportunity to grow their businesses. Through our new partner programme we aim to provide resellers with the tools and support they require to boost their service revenues as more customers look to embrace the cloud,” added Martin Sajkowski.
