Entatech Prepare Resellers for Life after XP

MSPs
Entatech UK Ltd has launched two EntaLive S.A.S boot camp events, to equip resellers on the best course of action after the demise of Windows XP and Windows SBS 2011.

With 1 in 5 SMBs still operating on Windows XP, Entatech has joined forces with Microsoft, Kingston and Fujitsu to prepare resellers on what options are now available and the benefits they can gain by moving to Windows 8 Pro and Windows Server 2012 R2. With Windows SBS 2011 ending production in December 2013, Windows XP going EOL on 8th April 2014 and Windows Server 2003 going EOL next year, there's never been a more compelling opportunity to boost sales.

Resellers will hear all about the latest S.A.S (Software and Server solutions) available in the channel and the benefits of migrating to the new Windows along with the critical risks and threats that will affect users who fail to make the switch.

Held on Thursday 1st May at Kingston’s HQ in Sunbury, Middlesex and on Tuesday 6th May at Fujitsu’s office in Solihull, Birmingham both events will be attended by Microsoft experts and Entatech Product Specialists who will be on hand to offers resellers advice and product knowledge.

Kate Fuller, Entatech marketing manager, commented: “Whenever there is a big change within the channel, it’s important that we, as a distributor, do all we can to educate resellers about how these changes affect them and the associated risks and opportunities. It’s imperative that resellers act now and talk to their customers and with these events we will provide resellers with all the information they need to help their customers make the change, whilst also outlining all the upgrade opportunities they can benefit from.”

The event will highlight the benefits of the new Windows, the latest Microsoft server solutions and the programs in place to take advantage of the opportunities available to resellers. Users will learn how to optimize their server’s performance and will hear from Kingston about the role of their Memory and SSD in Microsoft Server 2012. Fujitsu will demonstrate the hardware options available with their latest devices and server solutions.
