Ethernet Network Provider Targets Value-Added Resellers

London-based carrier-grade Ethernet provider, Exponential-e has today begun a recruitment drive for value-added resellers. The company, who specialise in deploying bespoke network solutions which combine end-to-end Ethernet connectivity with converged access to a range of business services, wants 20 new partners in the next 6 months.

At the core of Exponential-e’s reseller proposition is its VPLS-enabled Next Generation Network, which enables multiple services and applications to be delivered into a customer premise over a single converged access circuit. This not only reduces the complexity of the installation process and simplifies on-going management of the solution, but it also reduces the capital and operational expenditure giving resellers the ability to make more margin on the solution. Customers also benefit from faster speeds and superior quality since all services are delivered over a single, common platform – Ethernet.

Resellers will have access to Exponential-e’s complete portfolio of Ethernet services, which includes: Voice, video, colocation, storage, Internet, distributed DMZ and centralised firewalls. Those partners targeting the financial market will also benefit from sector-specific services and applications, such as fixed price access into a number of the world’s leading financial exchanges and compliance conforming storage.

Additional components of Exponential-e’s reseller proposition is its dedicated provisioning team, comprehensive sales and product training, and access to a secure portal where useful management information and statistics are available, such as customer bandwidth utilisation.

Mark Cooper, Exponential-e’s Channel Manager: “We were established in 2002 with the objective of bringing the benefits of Ethernet to the business community. At that time Ethernet in the WAN was not commonplace, but awareness is growing and today it presents a huge opportunity with Ofcom recently stating that the estimated revenue could grow from £370million to £900million by 2010.

This, combined with our year-on-year growth of 70% and our industry accolades allows us to offer some of the most exciting and profitable opportunities available today to appropriate resellers”
