Eurotel Join Rescue Party

Eurotel is the latest company to join the rescue team for stranded Cable & Wireless resellers in the wake of C&W’s announcement that they have bailed out of the channel.

The West Yorkshire based converged telecommunications and data services provider, has launched a helpline aimed at the small to medium sized businesses that have received “Dear John” letters from Cable & Wireless. The letters were titled “Cable & Wireless Telephony Service – Notice of termination of account number”.

“This is a prime example of why Eurotel exists. If you are running an SME, you should be focused on running your business, not wondering if your telephony supplier will suddenly decide you are an “unprofitable” customer. Cable & Wireless’ decision means that approximately 27,000 SME’S will now have to re-think where they source their telecommunications requirements. We have set up this helpline to enable companies to look at their telephone options and have greater control over costs and quality of service”. said Eurotel Managing Director, Anthony Rex.

“Eurotel provides fully tailored packages of bundled services, which include broadband, voice, competitive call tariffs and line rental, single bills, network services and one point of contact for all enquiries, putting small and medium sized companies firmly back in control of their telecommunications.

Not only will SME’S receive all the voice, data and Internet services they’re likely to need, but they will also receive peace of mind, knowing that one organisation, and not a plethora of service providers, is looking after their telecommunications requirements. This will allow them more time to do what they do best - namely getting on with business.”

Already BT, Gamma Telecom, Uniworld and Telstra have launched similar lifeboats.
