Excalibur Group has announced that its joint managing director, Nick Simpson is leaving his post after nine years, in early 2010. Simpson leaves to pursue his business interests in the US.
Simpson has left the group in great shape, predicting a record £17 million turnover this year due to expansion into tracking, IT services and landline solutions.
Simpson said: “The restructure will put Excalibur in to great shape and I have a lot of confidence in the management team going forward and I think that they will continue the sustained growth that we have had over the last nine years.”
The reshuffle will involve Gary Wetherall moving from joint MD to Group CEO, with James Phipps as MD of Excalibur Communications, and David Hyett and Tony Harris as joint MDs of Excalibur Distribution.
