Four months in the making by the Swindon Bitch and Stitch knitting group, the mammoth six by two metres bra has been gracefully hanging in Excalibur’s Swindon offices, but as the company’s Marketing Manager Sara Witham explains, it’s time for the big conversation piece to be unleashed to a wider audience.
“Working in close proximity to the giant bra has been quite a novelty for our team and certainly very eye-catching for our many visitors”, she said, “but for the moment we’ve had our turn, so we’d like to hear from other businesses or organisations who for a donation can liven up their office or event by renting the bra to spread the word and raise funds for Against Breast Cancer”.
Excalibur bought the carefully crocheted bra for £560 after its display at Swindon’s Brunel shopping centre had been reported by the BBC.
